Pesto

Fresh Basil from the Farmers Market

Pesto:
Pine Nuts and Olive Oil
1/2 cup pine nuts
1 clove of garlic
2 cups fresh basil leaves
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
salt & pepper 
                       Mix it all in the blender              Enjoy with the best italian pasta you can find     The town of Vernazza in Cinque Terre      has a little tower with a restaurant that serves the best pesto I've ever tried     this  recipe takes me there    and all the memories
